Novilla Berlin

In the workshop, we will present their project “Novilla” in Berlin Schöneweide. Novilla sees itself as an international centre for art, creativity and encounter. The name Novilla comes from Villa Hasselwerder, where this project is based. This historic location was empty in 2014 and had to be sold to international investors. But the sale was stopped at the last moment.

In the workshop we will have the opportunity to hear this story in details from the founders of Novilla and get a glimpse behind the scenes of such a project, which successfully reclaimed a forgotten piece of the city for a charitable purpose.

In the second part of the workshop, the participants will have the opportunity to develop and discuss their own ideas for projects in Moving Poets Novilla.
